Workshop at the ArtsHouse: The Way of Story

Storytelling weekend 3 day workshop May 17-19, 2024 

Learn how to make a story your own – and tell it by heart!

Unlock the ancient wisdom in traditional fairytales and develop your imagination, empathy

and connection through the transformative power of oral storytelling.

Silvia is an experienced facilitator who will hold a safe and nurturing space, allowing trusting

and playful relationships to emerge. All are welcome. No prior performance experience

necessary.

Over the weekend you will learn all you need to confidently tell a captivating story,

including:

- techniques to remember story ‘bones’

- how to ‘flesh’ a story with your unique words

- how to pace and adapt a story to make it your own

- easy theatre games to build confidence

- tools and practices useful in everyday communications

- confidence in your own inner storyteller!
